Tukwila, WA, October 16, 2013 --The Washington State Recycling Association (WSRA), a nonprofit trade organization representing the state’s diverse recycling industry, congratulates Danielle Pulliam of EcoChica Design on designing the winning logo for the WSRA 2014 Conference Logo Contest. Danielle received a $400 prize for her ability to translate the conference theme of "Nurturing Our Roots, Growing Our Future” into an artistic, professional design. The winning logo will be featured on all publications, banners and signs for the 2014 Conference as well as on the newly redesigned WSRA website.

WSRA launched this logo contest on September 10, 2013 in an effort to engage the community in the planning of their 34th Annual Conference  to be held at The Hilton in Vancouver, WA on May 4-7, 2014. They received several creative entries from talented artists and would like to thank all of the designers for entering the logo contest.

"There were so many wonderful entries, it made the judging difficult,” stated Jennifer Goodhart, Conference Committee co-Chair.  "We were drawn to Danielle’s work because it seemed to best capture the spirit and theme of the WSRA Conference this year.”

Danielle has been a member of the Washington State Recycling Association for many years and previously worked as an Environmental Program Coordinator for various Puget Sound area non-profit organizations and municipalities. By utilizing marketing and outreach skills gained in this field, and her creative talents, she has designed materials for the past 10 years, for a variety of local companies.
