Join us for an evening at Carillon Point to watch the documentary
Just Eat It. Filmmakers and food lovers Jen and Grant dive into the issue of food waste from farm, through retail, all the way to the back of their own fridge. After glimpsing the billions of dollars of good food that is tossed every year in North America, they pledge to quit grocery shopping and survive only on discarded food. What they find is truly shocking.

Suggested donation: food or a small cash donation for Hopelink, a local non-profit organization dedicated to promoting self-sufficiency to members of the community. All proceeds from the evening will benefit Hopelink.

The movie will begin at dusk (around 7:30); the plaza will be open one hour prior to dusk for seating. Bring a blanket or low chairs to sit on.

The parking attendant leaves at 9pm, so if you stay for the entire event, parking is free (even if you needed a ticket to enter).

In the event of rain, the event will be held at Kirkland City Hall in the Council Chambers.
