While recycling is an important part of the journey to Zero Waste at any business, businesses that have reduced wasteful processes and implemented reuse systems before focusing on recycling have realized the most savings. On February 5th, 2015 we will be conducting a webinar to demonstrate how to save money, reduce your environmental footprint, and make the best use of available tools and resources on those all important R’s: Reduce and Reuse.

The webinar will include:
-An overview of the benefits reduce and reuse offers your business
-A review of the types of waste reduction and reuse programs available to your business
-How to track your diversion through reduce and reuse and associated cost savings
-Tools and resources to aid your journey
-A facilitated Q&A session

National Zero Waste business and Reuse experts will impart their best advice, including:
-Ryan McMullan, Toyota Motor Sales
-Mary Ellen Etienne, Reuse Alliance International
-Sue Beets, USZWBC Board President, SBM Management
-Marialyce Pedersen, The Walt Disney Company

The webinar will also highlight the importance of reduce and reuse in getting certified as a Zero Waste business by USZWBC. As many as 19 of the available 80 credits can be earned through waste reduction and reuse activities on the USZWBC Zero Waste Business Facility Certification scorecard.

The webinar is free to all USZWBC Members and $50 for non-members.
