Industry Intelligence Inc. presents:

The Challenges of Introducing Innovative Packaging Materials into the Curbside Collection Programs

Free Webinar

All too frequently today we see new and innovative packaging materials such as plant based plastics, foamed PET and flexible laminates introduced into the market and then struggle to be recovered and / or recycled efficiently. This webinar will highlight the benefits of these innovative materials and focus on separating fact from fiction when looking at the complete life cycle.

Our panel of speakers for this webinar will present a diverse perspective on challenges to introducing innovative packaging materials into the curbside collection programs:
  • Krishna Nadella – CTO MicroGreen will present how Incycle insulated cups made from foamed PET close the recycle loop.
  • Toby Reid – CEO Solegear will provide specific information on the role played by bioplastics
  • Erica Ocampo– Sustainability & Advocacy Manager at Dow Chemical will discuss how packages must be resource efficient while still protecting the product, be easy to use and remain cost competitive. How a "sustainable package” reduces food waste and how lightweight materials can increase resource efficiency will also be addressed.
Register now and submit your questions for our presenters. They will also take audience comments and questions after the presentation.  To register, click here!
