Leadership Training Tuned to the Needs of Green Building Professionals and Advocates

The Northwest based non-profit EMERGE Leadership Project is partnering with Earth Advantage Institute to offer intensive leadership training tuned to the needs of green building professionals and advocates.  The EMERGE Leadership Workshop, scheduled for Friday/Saturday January 24-25, 2014 features long time green building leaders Kathleen O’Brien, Steve Loken, Ann Edminster, who together represent nearly a century of green building leadership experience and wisdom.

The two-day intensive program includes presentations, participatory learning exercises, scenario planning, planning templates, community building, and complimentary follow-up mentoring, all centered around the EMERGE Leadership (EL) Model, which, according to its originator, O’Brien, is intended to "help bring about the most important strategic intervention of our time.”

"The EMERGE Leadership Project recognizes the need for change is urgent, and that leveraging the leadership capacity of all those involved in shaping the built environment is critical to achieving that transformation effectively and expediently,” notes O’Brien. "We have what we need technically,” she adds, "that is not what is keeping us from getting to where we need to go.”  A full workshop description is at http://emergeleadership.net/emerge/2013/11/27/emerge-leadership-project-creates-energy-for-change/.  Additional questions?
